Koepka’s balky left knee ‘still the same’ after MRI – National Post

Brooks Koepka underwent an MRI earlier this week on the same troublesome knee that caused him to miss three months of action in 2019.

Koepka, formerly the worlds top-ranked player and now No. 6 on the list, initially shut it down following the CJ Cup in South Korea in October.

Just wanted to check on it, see where its at, Koepka said Saturday. We got the results right after Korea, and then we just wanted to check, and nothing is improved. Its still the same. So well figure it out when were done.

Koepka had stem-cell treatment to address a partially torn left patella tendon in August 2019 following the conclusion of the Tour Championship. He didnt play for three months after slipping on wet concrete.

Koepka, 30, owns seven career PGA Tour wins, four of them majors: the 2017 and 2018 U.S. Opens, and the 2018 and 2019 PGA Championships. His most recent victory was at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational last July.
